Several of 22 UNC alums in NFL training camps expected to start

After only playing in the season finale during his rookie season, the Washington Commanders are giving Sam Howell a chance to show his talent on the field this season. Former UNC receiving target Josh Downs, one of four rookie alums, has a shot at starting for the Colts. Of 22 Tar Heels in NFL training camps, Howell is one of four expected to start.
