Lighter, Quicker Tar Heels Open 2023 Preseason Football Camp

The first day of UNC preseason football practice Wednesday had players in helmets and shorts. The Tar Heels will add shoulder pads for the fourth and fifth practices before donning full pads for the sixth. Practice was structured to resemble game day, consisting of 17 periods in a four-quarter format, complete with breaks for TV timeouts and halftime. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
