UNC football coach Mack Brown “hated” it and veteran linebacker Cedric Gray was disgusted. In their final game of the 2021 season, the Tar Heels were on the receiving end of a 38-21 beatdown, courtesy of South Carolina, in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl. Gray, a Charlotte native, remembers it well. UNC flipped the script Saturday in the Duke’s Mayo Classic.
