After UNC's victory, the emotions regarding the status of Tez Walker poured into the locker room, with quarterback Drake Maye wearing the transfer wide receiver jersey and voicing his support to the media. “The NCAA is taking away the ability for him to play. We love him. His grandma has been taking care of him. He lives right there," Maye said.
