UNC Football surges again in both Top 25 polls after decisive victory

After a 40-7 victory over Syracuse, UNC Football moved up in the AP Top 25 for the fifth straight week. The Tar Heels (5-0, 2-0 ACC standings) jumped two spots to No. 12, their highest rank since they were No. 10 in the 2021 preseason poll. UNC moved up one spot to No. 12 in the Coaches Poll and is No. 12 in the National Football Foundation’s Super 16.
