No. 9 Tar Heels falter down the stretch against No. 5 UConn

Two teams with the potential to win the national championship put on a March-type battle in a special atmosphere similar to an NCAA tournament game. In the end, it was No. 5 UConn, full of players who won the title last season, who showed more poise down the stretch to beat No. 9 North Carolina 87-76 in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden.
