Terps Top Tar Heels, 17-15
Posted Nov 16, 2008
If Maryland reaches the ACC championship game for the first time, it will be remembered as "The Drive." Obi Egekeze's 26-yard field goal with 1:42 remaining capped a 19-play possession as the Terrapins rallied for a 17-15 victory over No. 17 North Carolina on Saturday. The win kept Maryland in control of its own destiny in the Atlantic Division race, as the Terrapins will qualify for the ACC championship game by winning their final two contests.
