T.J. Yates throwing three times a week

Butch Davis said Wednesday that quarterback T.J. Yates, who had shoulder surgery after breaking numerous freshman passing records, is now throwing the ball three times a week, and they are steadily increasing his distance and velocity. Davis said Yates should be back to full speed by early June, and he will remain the starter “until somebody proves, at any given point or in the future… that they’re a legitimate challenger.”
