North Carolina’s defensive intensity keeps getting better, as they held the Pittsburgh Panthers to a season-low 36.5% shooting, the lowest by an opponent since Notre Dame shot 33.3% last season. Holding Blake Hinson, the Panthers’ leading scorer, to 11 points on 4 of 16 shooting — mostly thanks to Harrison Ingram’s defense — was impressive.
