NC State basketball recruit Paul McNeil Jr breaks 74-year-old NCHSAA single-game scoring record

One of the oldest and elusive North Carolina High School Athletic Association boys basketball records has fallen after 74 years. Richmond senior and N.C. State recruit Jr. scored 71 points in a 118-52 victory over Lee County on Tuesday night, breaking the old mark set all the way back in 1950 by Clayton's Bob Poole in an 88-27 win. (High School OT)
