While there are no official “Midseason ACC Basketball Awards,” if there were, Hubert Davis would be among the top candidates for ACC Coach of the Year, and at least four of his players would be in contention for some of the league’s other prestigious honors. With continued success, all of these Tar Heels will be serious contenders for the actual awards.
