But somewhere amid the frenetic early going, the top-ranked Tar Heels' collective foot slipped off the accelerator. And instead of the blowout that brewed at the beginning, this matchup of major college basketball's winningest programs downshifted into a 77-58 victory for North Carolina. (Burlington Times News)
