Except for outcome, Ashley Judd enjoys trip to Smith Center


Ashley Judd said she attended the game to “make good” on a promise she made to UNC students during an Obama-Biden rally in Chapel Hill. “I spontaneously blurted out to a group of really wonderfully motivated, very engaged students that if they would carry North Carolina for Obama – which would be very significant given it hasn’t voted Democratic since Jimmy Carter – that I’d come stand in the student section,” Judd said.
