UNC men's basketball rises in AP Top 25 poll, projected by CBS as No. 1 seed

North Carolina moved up a spot to No. 9 in the AP Top 25 men’s college basketball poll Monday after winning at Virginia in its only game last week. The ACC-leading Tar Heels play the first of three consecutive home games Monday at 7 p.m. (ESPN), hosting a reeling Miami team that has been playing without Nijel Pack and has lost six consecutive games.
