Recruiting: Tar Heels land playmaker Terry Shankle

Butch Davis is a guy who loves playmakers, and last weekend the UNC head coach landed one of the state’s best. Terry Shankle, who amassed 18 interceptions and 28 receiving touchdowns over the last two seasons, was one of two players to give oral commitments to the Tar Heels over the weekend. Offensive lineman Johnnie Farms from Perry, Ga., who had previously committed to South Carolina, changed his mind and switched to UNC.
