UNC, State get 2 football commitments


North Carolina and N.C. State have each added two commitments to their 2009 football recruiting classes, with UNC landing one of the state's top high-school seniors. , a 6-1, 230-pound linebacker from Matthews and Butler High School, is headed to Chapel Hill. He will be joined by , a 6-4, 255-pound tight end from Blinn Junior College in Brenham, Texas. UNC built its class to 22 players and N.C. State grew to 15. (Winston-Salem Journal)
