UNC’s travel during football season will be light compared to most of expanded ACC

North Carolina will travel the fifth-fewest miles of the ACC's 17 teams this football season, only leaving the state four times and the Eastern time zone once. UNC won’t visit new members Cal, Stanford or SMU next season and will travel 5,423 miles. Cal’s average road trip of 4,132 miles is more than the total miles Virginia and Clemson will travel all season. (Tar Heel Tribune)
