Sam Howell knows he will begin the season as the Seattle Seahawks’ backup quarterback behind Geno Smith, but he’s proving he has star potential if given the opportunity. After a frustrating second season with Washington, Howell continued to put up good exhibition numbers in two starts for Seattle by showing accuracy, mobility, and touch.
