Linebacker Power Echols steps in to lead the defense in the 2024 season


Senior linebacker is in the corner meditating. Echols is the first one on the field before practice, stretching by himself. If his feet, hands, or eyes don’t feel right, he’ll warm up again. If another player isn’t stretching adequately, Echols will show him how to do it right. "It's awesome to have a person like that in the room, because it sets a standard." (Daily Tar Heel)
