Tyler Hansbrough became North Carolina's all-time leading scorer tonight in a game against Evansville at the Smith Center. Hansbrough hit an off-balance four-foot shot to the right of the basket over two defenders with 7:42 left in the first half for his 2,292nd point. He needed nine points to break the school record and topped it by making four baskets and two free throws. UNC officials stropped the game briefly to acknowledge the moment.
