North Carolina Overcomes Season-Opening Obstacles In 19-17 Road Win Over Minnesota


The path was far from linear for North Carolina, from the pregame weather delay that moved kickoff time back to the apparent knee injury that sent quarterback off on a cart in the second half. But the Tar Heels overcame those obstacles and more, and defeat Minnesota 19-17 on Thursday night in the season opener for both football teams. (Inside Carolina)
