Vince Carter has insisted since his induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame was announced in the spring that he wants to be honoured primarily as a Raptor. Toronto and 700-plus games with the Raptors taught him all that he needed to put in a 22-year NBA career. Those six-plus seasons as a Raptor let him learn from true greats.
