UNC Football Fights Through Adversity To Reach Bowl Eligibility

The Tar Heels were mired in a four-game losing streak amid an emotional gauntlet that included their offensive line coach dealing with a major illness, losing their starting quarterback to injury, and the death of a beloved teammate. Yet, after beating Wake Forest on Saturday at Kenan Stadium, UNC reached bowl eligibility with its third straight victory.
