North Carolina Rides Wave Past Dayton in Maui Opener
Posted Nov 26, 2024
From spiraling into a deep deficit, to charging back, UNC rode the wave Monday at the Maui Invitational. The No. 12 Tar Heels surged past previously unbeaten Dayton 92-90, while overcoming the Flyers' 21-point lead in the second half on the shoulders of Seth Trimble and R.J. Davis. That ties for the second largest comeback in Carolina Basketball history.
