Epidemic of Slow Starts Sinks UNC Basketball into ‘Head-Scratching’ State

Slow starts already seem like a guarantee by now, as UNC continually finds itself trailing by double digits early in each game against major-conference basketball opponents in the non-conference portion of the schedule. The Tar Heels fell behind by as many as 17 points in the first half on Tuesday against No. 7 Florida, yet again dropping into sizable hole.
