Davis, Drew find a niche within Tar Heels' lineup
Posted Jan 7, 2009
Larry Drew probably has it a little harder than Ed Davis. Both are freshmen trying to find their way on a team that largely has been together for three years. Both were McDonald's All-Americans after stellar high school careers. Both have fathers who had long careers in the NBA. But all North Carolina really expects from Davis is that he play defense and rebound. Drew, on the other hand, has to run the whole shebang when point guard Ty Lawson is on the bench.
