Posted Jan 9, 2009
Mywan Jackson announced Thursday afternoon that he has committed to North Carolina. "Next year I'll be attending ... the University of North Carolina," Jackson said from a podium at Armwood High School's fieldhouse. The 5-11, 175-pound athlete had narrowed his list of finalists to UNC, Michigan and Louisville. Jackson accumulated over 2,000 yards on the ground and through the air in 2008 for Armwood, earning all-county honors.
