UNC Basketball Pushes for Complete Performance With Eye on Metrics

The NET (NCAA Evaluation Tool) is one of the primary metrics that's used as a sorting tool for selecting and seeding the NCAA Tournament. It accounts for margin of victory, strength of opponent and location of games played, among other factors. North Carolina moved up three spots in the NET, from No. 37 to No. 34, as a result of the blowout over Cal.
