Posted Jan 18, 2025
North Carolina succumbed to the second-half pressure Saturday, and couldn't stack another victory. The Tar Heels weren't able to solve Stanford, falling 72-71 in ACC basketball at the Smith Center. Seth Trimble's pair of free throws with 7.7 seconds remaining put UNC ahead, but Jaylan Blakes' jumper with 1.5 seconds left became the game-winner.
