UNC overcomes horrible defensive effort, survives to beat Boston College in overtime
Posted Jan 25, 2025
North Carolina’s worst defensive performance in years put the Tar Heels on the edge of disaster. UNC eluded a rock-bottom loss, getting enough late stops and making some clutch plays to pull out a 102-96 overtime win Saturday over Boston College. "I believe that for the last 18.6 seconds and for overtime, we were locked in defensively,” Hubert Davis said.
