For decades, Carolina basketball has been about playing hard, smart, and together. The Tar Heels, in too many cases, went 0-for-3 in those categories Monday. They let the game devolve into trying to put up individual numbers. They chirped at teammates. They allowed straight-line drives for layups. For 40 minutes, on this day, they weren't Carolina.
