Cam Sexton leaving UNC football program
Posted Jan 14, 2009
Cameron Sexton, whose performance stepping in for injured starter T.J. Yates at quarterback helped UNC stage a major turnaround this season, won’t return for a fifth year. Sexton said that he’ll complete his undergraduate degree this semester and then seek to transfer to an NCAA Division II program for his final year of eligibility. “I have always been a competitor and I always wanted to play. I absolutely hated being on the bench. There is no two ways about it."
