Former Shelby High football standout Tavorris Jolly is continuing his football career at Coastal Carolina University.
Jolly, an All-State pick after leading the Golden Lions to the 2005 State 2AA championship, spent three years at the University of North Carolina, including sitting out as a redshirt one season. He left the Tar Heels after the final regular season contest this season. At Coastal Carolina, the 5-11, 185-pound defensive back will have two years of eligibility.
