UNC Football Lands Penn State Defensive Line Transfer Smith Vilbert


Penn State defensive end transfer Smith Vilbert committed to UNC Football on Wednesday. Vilbert, a 6-foot-6, 285-pounder, visited Chapel Hill on Monday. This past season, Vilbert appeared in all 16 contests for the Nittany Lions, who reached the College Football Playoff semifinals, making a dozen tackles, 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
