Player of the Year: Because of the injury that kept defending Player of the Year Tyler Hansbrough of North Carolina out for four games early in the season, Wake Forest point guard Jeff Teague was able to jump to the head of the class. While he would still get the award today, the gap between him and Hansbrough is narrowing rapidly. Biggest Loss: Marcus Ginyard.
