Brandon Tate to start NFL season on PUP?
Posted Feb 22, 2009
NFL Network's Mike Mayock suggested that North Carolina WR Brandon Tate (ACL surgery) may have to start his rookie year on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. Mayock likely has excellent sources at UNC with head coach Butch Davis his former coworker at NFL Net. We're waiting to see if Tate will run the forty Sunday, but it's probably safe to assume he won't in light of this news.
