Terrapins storm by Tar Heels

Maryland proved to be more than a one-man gang yesterday, storming from 16 points down in the second half and nine points behind with 1:54 left in regulation to shock North Carolina in overtime. Riding the unlimited energy and abundant confidence of guard Greivis Vasquez, Maryland won 88-85 in a raucous Comcast Center to snap North Carolina's 10-game winning streak. (Winston-Salem Journal)
