Jeff Saturday agrees to 3-year deal to remain with Colts
Posted Feb 27, 2009
Jeff Saturday didn't want to leave Indianapolis. Now, he won't. Faced with the prospect of their three-time Pro Bowl center becoming an unrestricted free agent at 12:01 this morning, the Colts sweetened their initial offer and locked him up with a three-year contract Thursday. Final terms were not immediately available, but it's believed the deal makes Saturday one of the highest-paid centers in the NFL.
