North Carolina survived its final ACC road game of the season behind three of its most important players to gain at least a share of the conference's regular-season title. UNC defeated Virginia Tech 86-78 at Cassell Coliseum to notch its sixth ACC road victory of the season. UNC responded to a question from Coach Roy Williams about its toughness to win by holding off two Virginia Tech runs in the second half.
