Dexter Strickland triggers St. Patrick's victory


St. Patrick's senior guard got team MVP honors as he scored 11 of his team-high 20 points in the second half and led the Celtics past Trenton Catholic Academy, 76-62, in the NJSIAA Non-Public B final at the Ritacco Center on Saturday. The Celtics won their seventh state title in the last 12 years and will get the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye for the Tournament of Champions, which starts on Wednesday night. (Asbury Park Press)
