Kelcy Quarles squashes decommitment rumors
Posted Mar 29, 2009
Recent internet reports stated that South Carolina pledge Kelcy Quarles was "99-percent" sure he would reopen his recruitment. However, the Greenwood junior set the record straight with ESPN affiliate Web site TheBigSpur.com.
"Put this on the site," he said. "I'm not going anywhere. I love South Carolina, Coach Lawing, the fans, and the school. I'm sorry to everyone for all the confusion. I will be the leader of this class and of my school. USC has nothing to worry about."
