UNC one step from title after overwhelming Villanova

The progress for UNC has always has been there. And after four long years, it has led the UNC seniors to the gates of basketball heaven. The Tar Heels found their way there by jumping on Villanova on Saturday night at the Final Four at Ford Field, bolting out to a comfortable lead before surviving some ragged play in the second half for an 83-69 victory. “Every year is a step or two closer,” senior guard Bobby Frasor said.
