An imperfect season gets its perfect end

Bobby Frasor remembers hearing it from the moment Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington and Danny Green announced on June 16 they were returning for the 2008-09 season instead of leaving for the NBA. Tyler Hansbrough, the reigning national player of the year, already had made it clear he was coming back to a team that reached the NCAA semifinals. Now the entire starting lineup was returning. The players understood what would be expected of them. Nothing less than a perfect season.
