Trimane Goddard getting tryout with New York Giants
Posted Apr 30, 2009
Though he was disappointed that he didn’t get selected in last weekend’s NFL Draft, former UNC star Trimane Goddard, a 5-11, 198-pound safety, will have a tryout with the New York Giants. If Goddard has a favorable showing, the Giants can sign Goddard to a free-agent deal. Goddard, who tied for the national lead with seven interceptions last year, will go through his tryout during the team’s mini-camp, which will be held May 8-10.
