Khalif Mitchell Signs With San Francisco 49ers

Former ECU defensive tackle Khalif Mitchell has signed an undrafted free agent contract with the San Francisco 49ers according to a release from the NFL organization late Thursday. Mitchell, who served as a part-time starter for two seasons at ECU after transferring from UNC prior to the 2006 campaign, is currently in the Bay Area and will participate in the team's mandatory three-day rookie mini-camp, which begins today.
