49ers sign Dre' Bly to aid secondary

In a division where the reigning champs feature Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin, the 49ers had no desire to be left shorthanded at defensive back. So after losing longtime veteran and former Pro Bowl choice Walt Harris, the team replaced him with "... another longtime veteran and former Pro Bowl choice. Dre' Bly signed a one-year contract Thursday and will compete against Tarell Brown and Shawntae Spencer for Harris' starting job.
