Deon Thompson Scores 10 As U.S. Wins First Game In Serbia

Da'Sean Butler (West Virginia) scored a team-high 20 points to lead the 2009 USA Men's World University Games Team to a victory over Canada 85-81 in the 2009 Serbia International Invitational on Saturday. The U.S. was aided by Corey Fisher (Villanova) with 11 points, while Lazar Hayward (Marquette) and Deon Thompson (UNC) tossed in 10 points apiece. Thompson's six rebounds tied for the team high.
