Running game will be key for Carolina
Posted Jul 22, 2009
The most valuable aspect of the offense for the North Carolina football team this year could very well be the running game. A successful running game would take immense pressure off a young group of wide receivers, an offensive line that lacks depth and a quarterback who might have to play heroically if he cannot throw on his terms. Carolina last produced a 1,000-yard back in 1997, when Jonathan Linton gained 1,004 yards.
