The years pass but the Scott Stankavage’s love for football never diminishes. The former Carolina quarterback (1980-83), who also spent three years in the National Football League with Denver and Miami, has found a productive way to be involved with the game again. He’s helping to coach high-school kids. “The last two seasons, I helped quarterbacks and offense at Southern Durham,” Stankavage said.
