Mixed feelings for Marcus Ginyard
Posted Jul 25, 2009
It's just different. That's about the only way Marcus Ginyard knows how to describe his life here in the summer of 2009. That he missed out on being a participant in UNC's run to the national title last spring? Well, that fills him with a strange combination of fulfillment and emptiness. That his best friends, classmates and roommates - Tyler Hansbrough, Bobby Frasor and Danny Green - have all split from Chapel Hill and headed for the real world? That's left Ginyard feeling a tad lonely and nostalgic.
